It all began in 2015...

Curadis was founded in Belgium by Speech-Language Pathologist Katja Verstraelen, who specializes in Swallowing Disorders. Her original passion, energy, time and love brought Curadis into the world from her home in Belgium. Katja's original vision and mission of Curadis will always be: to exchange experience and knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of swallowing disorders between Europe, The United States and Latin America. Curadis will always provide volunteer outreach, education, diagnostics and treatment to communities in need throughout Latin America on a fully pro-bono basis. Through her hard work, dedication, passion, skill and energy, Curadis now exists on a truly global level. Though we may all work together to continue to build on her original work and vision, it is important to remember where and how it all began!
